9/15/20 - This is an original Colt Model Bisley Revolver. It comes with a Colt factory letter. It has a 4.75" barrel. According to the factory letter, it was shipped on December 8th of 1903 to the Belknap Hardware and Mfg Co. This particular example is fully functional and the action is smooth. The cylinder is tight. It has retained roughly 50% of its original finish - there are areas of wear throughout. There are a few small areas of light pin-pricking here and there. Roll mark on the cylinder. There are a few small dings and scratches on the front strap and the butt. Excellent, original grips. The bore is shiny with strong rifling - just a few areas of freckling. The gun is all matching.
