2/20/19 - This is a beautifully engraved PPK in the Germanic style - Oak Leaf and Acorn pattern. It is post factory engraved but very similar in style and quality to the factory engraved pieces. The gun is crown N proofed and made in 1939, just before the outbreak of hostilities. It has the correct one piece brown grip and a correct Walther banner magazine - with an engraved bottom. Mechanically it seems all correct and shootable. The only exception is the cartridge indicator pin. The spring still works, but the pin stays in the "out" position. Bore is shiny with very little wear. The engraving fully covers the gun to make an excellent display piece for the advanced collector.
