6/12/20 - This is a terrific example of an Ithaca 1911A1 rig from late in 1943 that was part of the British Lend-Lease program as indicated by the proofs on the barrel and upper portion of the slide. The finish is excellent with a minty profile, but a little bit of thinning on the front strap and trigger guard, and just a small area of finish loss on the slide near the ejection port. Flannery barrel with strong bore. Minty grips. 'L' marked magazine. Comes with an excellent original holster that was produced by Craighead.
