7/24/20 - This is a very good example of an original World War Two Nazi awarded wound badge. The badge was originally awarded by German Emperor Wilhelm II to wounded soldiers during World War I. The Nazi's co-opted the wound badge into their service and it was received by wounded Nazi soldiers until 1945- at the war's end. The maker's mark indicates Wien (Vienna), Austria.
