2/4/20 - This is an original Colt M1911 that was issued to the US Army in 1918. The finish is thin throughout, especially on the slide, but original and without notable corrosion. Springfield inspector mark on frame and PH marking on barrel. Proper 'H' proof on slide. Two-tone magazine. Excellent wood grips, which were likely replaced at some point given the disparity in condition.
