1/6/21 - This is an Arisaka Type 99 issued to the Japanese military during WW2. This one has a completely in tact mum stamp on the receiver and includes a cleaning rod and rare monopod. The bolt is mismatched to the rest of the gun. Overall, it is in nice condition. There is some thinning on the metal parts and there is rough machining and oxidation throughout (typical for these guns). On the wood stock, there is a crack around the wrist, chips in the wood on the right side near the trigger guard, and other dings, dents, and scratches. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling.
