9/3/20 - This is a scarce, early example of an Argentine Colt Model 1927 with a holster and shoulder strap. This pistol was part of a special order of only 10,000 that were produced by Colt in Connecticut before production was transferred to Argentina. They have a specialized serial numbering with the Argentine crest on the slide. Matching serial numbers on the slide, frame, barrel and a mismatched but correct magazine. It's possible the barrel is a later Ballester Molina replacement once the gun got to Argentina, based off the faint crest visible in the ejection port. Strong, shiny bore. Excellent grips. High edge wear is along both sides of the slide, and the front strap has some bluing loss, too. Comes with an unmarked holster with shoulder strap.
