12/19/18 - This is an original, antique rifle with single shot, falling block design. The rifle has no serial number, and barely any markings at all except for "D.R.G.M." on the left of the rear sight, and a caliber marking which appears to be, "6,2gr N.G.P. m/m". The gun functions properly with .22 LR, however, so it would not be a problem to find ammo. It has double set triggers, with one used to cock it and the second to fire. Adjustable sights also to help make this one a tack driver, according to the consignor. The octagonal barrel is about 22.5 inches long. Overall length is just beyond 38 inches. Smooth action and is single-fire. The bore is in excellent, minty condition.
