12/6/18 - This is a very scarce variant of Walther P38 pistol, made with a shortened 2.5 inch barrel in 1974 in West Germany. This particular pistol is especially rare as it is not import marked. Every other example we have seen has been import marked, generally by Interarms. The gun is practically 'as new in the box' with just a few tiny spots of handling wear and mint grips and bore. Only 2,600 of these interesting pistols were made in the 1970's and even fewer were actually imported into the US. This gun is complete with manual, matching test target matching original box. Unfortunately, it does not come with a spare mag. All the markings are crisp with a West German proof marks and a date code present.
