1/18/19 - This is pretty much “as new in the box” Walther P5 pistol, made in West Germany in 1993, and dated coded KD(93) on the right side of the frame. The gun appears unused, with just a few spots of handling wear from shifting inside the box that can barely be seen on the front of the slide in the pictures. This is a much less commonly seen commercial model, imported in the early 90s by Interarms. It has no other import markings and is not a surplus German Police gun that you would commonly see. It is a complete set with a numbered box, test target, 2 magazines, a manual and a warranty card. The P5 was an improvement on the Walther P38 model, and produced a modern gun with an enclosed barrel but retained the robust P38 internals. A great example of an iconic Walther pistol, made around the unification of Germany in early 1990s.
