7/28/20 - This is a 1903-A3 rifle that has been configured to emulate the US 1903-A4 sniper rifle. Assembled using primarily period correct GI hardware, this .30 caliber rifle has a Redfield style dovetail scope mount with top split scope rings. The scope is a vintage weaver 330 scope with tapered post reticle. Crisp, clear optics. The metal condition is in great shape, with some very minor patina on the barrel which is dated 1943. There is browning discoloration towards the front-sight end of the scope exterior. The wood stock is "P" proofed and stamped AAE from Augusta arsenal. Stock has been modified to accommodate the bolt. The bore is minty with only a hint of wear, 9.5/10. Comes with a canvas sling.
