8/7/20 - This is a Walther P.38 and holster from April or May of 1945, one of the last ones made for the war. This is a known variation with mismatched parts as they were assembled from what was available in the factory. They commonly have only one inspection stamp on the right side of the slide as the process was not completed to previous policy. This one has some thinning on the front strap and firing pin cover, and an area of wear on the right side of the slide. Very nice reddish brown grips. Excellent bore. Proper functionality, including de-cocker. Comes with a 1944 softshell holster in excellent condition.
