3/1/21 - This is an excellent example of an Underwood M1 Carbine issued to the US military in 1944. An adjustable rear sight and bayonet lug were added, likely for the Korean war. It comes with a canvas sling, oiler, and a "Rugg" magazine. The barrel is Springfield Armory and dated 1951. The stock has an "IO" Inland marking but has SA proofs. Most parts are SA. A parts list with their markings is below. The gun is excellent. There is minor thinning on the barrel and handling marks on the receiver. The stock is excellent - just minor handling marks. The bore is minty. Import mark on the barrel.
