5/26/21 - This is a very nice example of a Mauser P.38 that was manufactured in 1944 and reworked and re-blued by the French. The gun is matching and has the proper "Waffen 135" Nazi military proofs and a French star on the right side of the slide. There is an import mark on the right side of the frame. The gun has retained about 90% of its bluing. There are areas of wear around the muzzle, front edges of the slide, right side of the slide, and right side of the frame. A few minor handling marks here and there. Comes with WW2-era grips that have scratches throughout. The right grip panel was cut. Comes with a proper Mauser magazine. Excellent bore - shiny with strong rifling. De-cocker is functional.
