6/16/20 - This is a WW2 Winchester M1 Garand Rifle made in 1943. Overall, this gun is in excellent condition. Most of the finish on the metal parts is in tact - the wear is most notable around the gas cylinder. The wood stock is excellent, just a few minor dings and dents here and there. It is all original except for the gas plug which has been replaced. Winchester stock. There is no cartouche on the stock. It has a rebuild etching on the leg of the receiver. The bore is excellent - shiny with very strong rifling.
