2/26/21 - This is an excellent example of an M1 Carbine issued to the US military in 1943. All parts are Underwood marked. The barrel is dated November 1943 and has a flaming bomb proof. It has an adjustable rear sight that was likely added for the Korean war. The stock is marked Underwood and has the proper cross-canon proof and inspection stamp. It has been sanded, though. Overall, the gun is in very nice condition. There is some minor thinning on the receiver and a few white marks on the barrel and on the stock. The gun comes with a WW2-era magazine and a 1943-dated magazine pouch. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling.
