9/30/20 - This is an original Walther P.38 rig issued to the Nazi military in 1943. The rig comes with two period-correct magazines and a nice, 1944-dated holster. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" Nazi military acceptance proofs. It is fully functional, including the de-cocker. This particular gun has retained roughly 70% of its original bluing. The most noticeable wear is on the underside of the frame and front strap. There is also spotty patina in those areas. There is muzzle wear and high edge wear on the slide. There are small surface scratches/handling marks along the right side of the slide. Wear on the underside of the tang. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling. The holster is soft and waffenamt.
