5/26/21 - This is a nice example of a Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military proofs. The gun has retained about 95% of its original finish. There is minor thinning on the front strap and wear on the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. While there isn't much actual finish loss, there are areas of significant pitting most noticeable around the muzzle, on toward the front and back of the left side of the slide, on the whole right side of the slide, and on the safety lever. Comes with excellent grips and a period-correct Walther magazine. The bore is very nice - shiny with good rifling. De-cocker is functional.
