5/24/21 - This is a very nice example of a Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 135" military proofs. It has retained about 97% of its original bluing. Very little wear on the front edges of the slide. While there is very little actual finish loss, there are significant areas of pitting on the barrel, top of the slide, front left of the slide, back right of the slide, safety lever, and front strap. The gun would be minty without the pitting. Excellent grips and a correct magazine. Excellent bore. De-cocker is functional.
