7/22/19 - This is an all matching and original Walther P.38 from 1942, and one of the first P.38s ever produced with the 'ac 42' factory code. The pistol is serial number 142 with no suffix, meaning it was one of the first 150 produced. The pistol retains 90+% military blue, with most of the finish loss on the front strap and underside of the barrel. There is also a notable area of pinpricking on the left side of the slide. All small parts properly feature the Walther waffenamt, including the grips, which are not numbered. Good mechanics, including de-cocker. Strong, shiny bore.
