2/26/18 - This is a 1942 export production Nazi marked receiver and Portuguese marked top cover MP-34. Chambered in 9mm Luger, with German bolt stop, designated as the MP-34”O” internally, and as the 942 Steyr in Portugal. Beautiful kit, great bluing. Same receiver, bolt, and fire group as the Mp-30, with the top cover and bolt with bolt stop device as shown in the pictures. These are extremely rare, as these kits were some of the last built by Nazi Germany, in 1942, and were built for export to Portugal. As a consequence they have both Nazi and Portuguese markings. The stock also bears the Portuguese crest in the wood as shown below. The top cover has a Portuguese crest in front of the safety, and has WaA189, and the Steyr manufacturers mark on both the receiver, top cover, and leaf sight. The barrel is Nazi marked and in 9mm Luger. The trigger is also Steyr marked. Kit has an original mp34 magazine designed for 9mm Steyr, but it feeds and chambers 9mm Luger. This magazine is correct for this kit. Finish is original German bluing, and rust bluing on the receiver and fire tray. The rifle is semi auto, 922r compliant, and can be shipped as either a short barrel build or with a new manufacture barrel extension, which can be removed later to use the original barrel, which is undamaged under the barrel extension. NOTE: This kit is available for pre-order. It is essentially complete, but has not had the barrel assembly or extension installed, so they can be pre-ordered as a short barrel if interested, or with the barrel extension as seen on the Austrian Steyr. Payment will be required up front, and time from order to delivery for a non short barrel will be around one month. For SBR orders, they will be transferred to Legacy, and upon stamp arrival will be transferable to the customer. We have no more of these kits available for sale, so this is a first come first serve, with future production undetermined.
