11/16/17 - This is a near mint Mauser HSc produced for WWII, with Eagle/135 proof on the left side of the trigger guard. The designation HSc stood for Hahn Selbstspanner ("self-cocking hammer") Pistole, third and final design "C". These pistols were originally intended for commercial use but ended up competing with the PPK, PP and Sauer 38h for police and military use. The third and fourth army variations featured the Eagle/135 proof, with the serials ranging from 745,000-886,000. This pistol falls in the fourth variation with serial number 805625. The pistol is in beautiful condition with only very light edge wear on the slide and muzzle. The front strap has a few small spots of bluing loss, and the back strap has very light thinning near the base, but overall we rate at about 97% original condition. The bore is minty and the grips are original. Guaranteed original and fully functional.
