SOLD - 1942 Colt M1911A1 - WB Inspector

12/14/17 - This is an original Colt M1911A1 from 1942, with about 95% dull blued finish remaining.  Finish loss is found on the high edges on both sides of the slide.  The slide is numbered and matching to the frame.  Excellent Colt barrel with 'G' proof.  Near flawless grips.  Fantastic bore.  The previous owner of this gun includes a photo of the GI who originally possessed it, and we are in the process of trying to find out more info about him.
