10/25/19 - From March of 1941, this is an all matching and original Walther P.38, including the grips and magazine. It's a first variation example with 'ac' proof on trigger guard, and high-polish blue. Most of the finish loss is on the front strap, though there is notable wear on either side of the muzzle, and the high edges of the slide. There are also two areas of corrosion on the right side the slide, with the most notable patch on the rear edge. Bore has some frost and pinpricking but in pretty good condition. Good mechanics, including de-cocker. All small parts correctly have Walther inspection proof.
