4/3/23 - This is a rare find of a mostly all-correct 1940 M1 Garand in very nice condition. Barrel date is 12 of 1940. It has a mint bore, muzzle 1.75 and a throat of 1.5. The chamber is still in the white. Early marked correct gas cylinder with sight cap still in place. The wood is in very good condition, has light but clear cartouches and was likely steel-wooled at some point. All parts are correct including the flush nut sights with both knobs checkered. All correct internals with the exception of the correct but modified -2 op rod. Not British proofed. Barrel was re-parkerized.
