3/17/21 - This is a nice example of a Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1940. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military proofs throughout, even on the small parts. This one has retained roughly 80% of its original finish. There is virtually no finish left on the front strap. There is spotty wear near the high edges of the slide. Spotty discoloration on the left front edge of the slide. Wear around the muzzle and on the top of the slide. Light scratches on the right side of the slide. Comes with excellent grips and a mismatched numbered magazine. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling with light freckling in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
