7/13/21 - This is a very nice example of a Mauser Luger rig issued to the Nazi military in 1939. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 63" military proofs. It's also a four digit date, S/42 code example, which is significantly less common than the standard '42' code production. Fewer than 40,000 produced, as compared to nearly 90,000 with '42' code. It comes with a minty 1938-dated waffen proofed holster, an "Eagle 63" tool, and two original matching magazines. The gun has retained about 91-92% of its original finish. There is minor thinning on both straps and areas of minor wear on the side plate, side rails, around the chamber, and around the muzzle. A few noticeable scratches on the barrel. Comes with excellent un-numbered grips. The bore has great rifling with minor pin-pricking throughout.
