8/21/20 - This is an original Nambu Type 14 rig issued to the Japanese military in 1939. The rig comes with a period-correct holster and cleaning rod. The gun is all matching and has very little actual bluing loss - it has retained about 96% of its original bluing. There is minor muzzle wear, wear at the very rear of the top of the slide, and one spot of wear on the underside of the trigger guard. There are areas of noticeable spotty surface rust on the back strap. There areas of spotty, dark oxidation on the gun throughout. It is most noticeable on the slide, barrel, trigger guard, and on the straps. It comes with a period-correct, mismatched magazine and period-correct cleaning rod. It also comes with a nice, period-correct, leather holster - minor surface scuffs throughout. The grips are unnumbered and in decent condition, but there are dings throughout. The bore is shiny with decent rifling. The magazine fits tight inside the gun. It's a little hard to get in and out. It is easier if you hold down the mag release button.
