2/25/20 - This is an original leather strap for a K98 rifle manufactured early WWII. The strap is stamped "1939" on the rear along with some un-readable verbiage. The keeper stud is maker stamped but only the "O" is visible. The leather is soft and completely in tact with no notable flaws. About 60% of the original herringbone texture is still visible on the exterior. The stitching is all original as well without issues.
