5/17/18 - This is an original and matching 1936 dated Mauser luger that was issued to the German Army. All numbered parts are matching aside from the magazine, which is numbered to another pistol but period correct. Grips are properly not numbered and appear original to the gun. The finsh rates at maybe 60+% with thinning to the finish throughout, and some minor surface freckling on the left side but no notable pitting or corrosion. The bore is excellent and shiny, and mechanics are good, so this one makes a great candidate for shooting. Only minor flaw is that the safety is stiff/tight. It appears to function properly, and does not seem to need gunsmith work done to it.
