12/3/18 - This is an original 1918 dated DWM Luger pistol. The pistol is all original and matching. The magazine is period correct, but non-matching serial numbered. The grips are WW1 style but are not numbered except for a small "2" on the left panel. The left panel has a small chip near the safety lever, as is a common flaw on Lugers. The finish overall is about 80-85% as there's significant bluing loss on the receiver and "straw parts", such as the trigger, safety lever, and takedown lever. The back strap has some light surface scratching as shown in photos. The pistol has all small parts correct and matching with a very nice bore - 8.5/10 overall with strong grooves and only minor patina. Guaranteed original and fully functional.
