6/28/23 - This is a fine example of a DWM produced Artillery Luger. The gun is original and dated to 1917. The pistol has about 96% of the original blue with some finish loss on the sideplate and a few areas of thinning on the barrel. It has all matching numbers, including the grips which are original and rare Red 9 variation. Most likely the Red Nine was recently re-painted but the grips are 100% original and matching to the gun. This same type if grip was used on Mauser C96 pistols from the era to distinguish calibers. The magazine is a blank wood-bottom variant. Small parts retain about 90% of the original straw. Minty bore.
