4/18/17 - This is a 1916 luger, produced by DWM for use by the German military during WWI. The pistol retains about 96% of its original bluing, with most of the wear on the sideplate, and excellent straps. There is unfortunately some pitting along the right side rail and top of the barrel, but it is not very deep. The small parts are all original and matching, as are the grips, which are numbered to the pistol. The magazine has a blank wood bottom, but I believe is a postwar reproduction. Bore has strong rifling but some light frosting throughout - I'd rate it a 6/10.
