8/14/20 - This is a beautiful looking military Erfurt Luger rig from 1916. The bluing rates at 98-99% but this pistol does have various additional commercial proofs on it and we believe the finish was restored when it was sold commercially. Unsure the meaning or origin of the proofs but could be British. The pistol has military acceptance stamps on the receiver and front strap is unit marked "D.15.M.G.13" which indicates it went to a machine gun unit. The original matching grips are present and in excellent shape. The rig includes two period original magazines with wood bottom, but both are mismatched to the gun. Unfortunately, the bore on this one is notably pitted throughout. An original imperial tool is included with the rig, and it's completed by an original 1916 dated holster. The holster body is in good condition but the top flap shows a good amount of cracking and wear.
