3/6/17 - This is a WWI era Erfurt luger, all original, with matching magazine! These were heavily proofed pistols, and this one is no different. All small parts received Erfurt's imperial proof, including the grip screws, and all numbered parts on this pistol match - including the grips and magazine. From 1908 to 1914, these pistols were produced without the hold open or stock lug. Erfurt eventually changed this as soldiers found they couldn't tell if the pistol was empty. The finish on this pistol rates at about 92-94%, with some muzzle and sideplate wear, as well as some patina showing through on the straps. The bore is very good with strong rifling.
