2/9/21 - This is a very nice example of an Erfurt Luger that was issued to the Imperial German Army in 1911. It was then reworked and issued to the police. The gun is all matching, has Imperial military proofs, an added seer safety, and a police arsenal marking on the front strap. The gun has retained about 90% of its bluing. There is minor wear on the side plate and high edges of the frame. Very minor thinning and spotty oxidation on the straps. Spotty discoloration on the barrel. It comes with excellent original matching grips and a mismatched period-correct magazine. The rifling in the bore is quite worn with pitting throughout.
