8/1/19 - This is a model reworked 1903 Remington rifle from WW2. This is reworked due to the improper stock and barrel (barrel appears to be the correct year, 1942, but SA and not R). The stock doesn't appear to have any inspector or cartouche stamps, but there is a small "M R" stamped on the left side of the stock. The wood has a few dents and minor scuffs, as well as a small chip on the left side near the rear of the receiver. The metal appears all original and Remington stamped, in about 90% condition. There's some minor darkening on the receiver as well as finish loss on the barrel bands and front sight. The bore rates about 7/10 with minor corrosion throughout, but good rifling. Fully functional and should fire without issue. Comes with a post war leather sling.
