1/17/20 - This is a WW2 production 1903 Springfield that was later sent to Rock Island Arsenal and reworked into a 1903-A4 sniper rifle. The rifle comes with a minty condition M84 scope. The scope has the original rubber eye cup, and very crisp optics. No cloudiness. The wood stock is minty condition, and still shows the original inspector stamp. More strongly stamped is the Rock Island Arsenal inspector stamp further down the wood. The parkerized finish is beautiful and minty throughout the metal. The only place where there is wear is on the the barrel near the muzzle and date stamps. the bore is mint as well - 10/10 overall. These were used in Korea and Vietnam.
