1/20/22 - This is a very nice example of an Arisaka Type 99 issued to the Japanese military during WW2. The gun is entirely matching and even comes with a matching-numbered cleaning rod. It also has a completely intact Imperial mum stamp on the receiver. Overall, the gun is in very nice condition. It has retained the majority of its finish, but there is noticeable thinning on the floor plate, trigger group, and butt plate. There is also minor wear on the high edges of the front barrel band, on the barrel, and around the muzzle. Some tiny spots of oxidation on the back half of the receiver. Brown patina on the butt plate. The stock is excellent with only minor dings here and there. Excellent, shiny bore with strong rifling.
