11/4/21 - This is a nice example of a scarce French Unique Kriegsmodell issued to the Nazi military during WW2. Only about 18,000 made. It is all matching and has the proper "Waffen D20" Nazi military inspection proof on the right side of the tang. It comes as a rig with two period-correct magazines and a period-correct 1941-dated police-style holster. The holster is fairly worn. The leather is pretty dry with light cracking in the leather. There are a few holes in the top flap, and a tear on the back of the holster adjacent to the metal stud. The gun has lost most of its original bluing, retaining only about 15% on the sides of the frame. There is almost no finish left on the whole slide and grip straps. There are tiny dots of discoloration on both sides of the slide. Comes with excellent period-correct grips. The bore is mint.
