11/4/21 - This is an excellent example of an Astra Model 300 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It was a part of a delivery on April 9th of 1943 of about 4,000 guns. The gun is all matching, has the proper Spanish proofs on the left side of the gun, and has the proper "Waffen 251" Nazi military acceptance proofs on the right side of the tang. It comes as a rig with two period-correct magazines and a fairly worn un-marked holster. The gun has retained about 95% of its original finish. While there is very little actual finish loss, there is spotty oxidation throughout. There is some scratchy wear around the muzzle, hints of wear on the high edges, and a couple of small areas of minor wear around the tang. Just a hint of thinning on the grip straps. Comes with excellent period-correct wood grips. The bore has decent rifling, but there is noticeable oxidation in all of the grooves.
