10/26/21 - This is a nice example of a French Model D issued to the Nazi military during WW2. It is all matching, has the proper Nazi test proof in the ejection port, and has the proper "Waffen 251" Nazi military acceptance proof on the right side of the frame. It comes as a rig with two period-correct magazines and a post-war tan leather shoulder holster. The gun has retained roughly 50% of its finish. There is significant thinning on the whole slide and spotty wear on both grip straps. There is spotty oxidation and light brown patina on the whole gun. An area of very minor pitting on the left side of the slide near the muzzle. Comes with nice black bakelite grips. The bore is mint.
