10/21/21 - This is a minty example of a rare Krieghoff Luger that was issued to the Luftwaffe in 1937. Only ~2,000 were made in 1937. The gun is all matching, has the Krieghoff logo on the toggle, and has the proper "Eagle L 2" Krieghoff military acceptance proofs. It comes with a matching-numbered magazine that has a proper "upside down Eagle L 2" proof, but we're not sure if the numbering is original. In any case, it is a period-correct Krieghoff magazine. The gun is in beautiful condition, retaining about 97-98% of its original finish. There are just hints of wear on the side plate, front edges of the side rails, and around the muzzle. There is one noticeable scratch on the left side of the frame and some sparse tiny freckles on both grip straps. The straw coloring on the small parts is still mostly visible. The gun comes with proper reddish bakelite "Ritz" grips. The bore is mint. Just a beautiful example of a rare gun.
