10/20/21 - This is an excellent example of a Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless that was manufactured in 1942. It is all matching, has a military cross-canon cartouche at the back of the left side of the frame, and has a "US Property" marking on the right side of the frame indicating it was issued to the US military during WW2. It has a blued finish that has even wear throughout. Overall, it has retained about 93% of its finish. There are hints of wear on the high edges and around the muzzle. There is a noticeable area of wear, oxidation, and minor pitting on the right side of the slide, near the muzzle. There is some splotchy discoloration and oxidation on the tang and back strap. Comes with excellent original Colt wood grips and a period-correct magazine. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling.
