4/8/22 - This is a near-mint example of an end-of-production Ithaca Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1945. The gun comes with an excellent WW2-production Graton & Knight leather holster (US marked) and a period-correct two-tone Risdon magazine. The gun is "United States Property"-marked, has the proper "FJA" inspector initials, and has a cross-canon military cartouche at the back of the right side of the frame. It also has a proper High Standard barrel. It has retained about 97% of its original parkerized finish with just hints of wear around the high edges, some small dots of wear and handling marks on the front strap, and a couple of extremely light scuffs on the right side of the slide. Comes with excellent period-correct plastic grips. The bore has decent rifling with minor freckling in some of the grooves.
