10/4/21 - This is an excellent example of a Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1945. It is all matching and has proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs on the right side of the slide. The serial number on the left side of frame has a capital "A" suffix. The takedown lever and slide stop have almost a case-hardened finish. The gun has retained about 96% of its finish. There is very minor thinning and patina on the front strap and minor wear on the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. A few very light surface scratches on the right side of the slide. Comes with excellent black bakelite grips and a rare late-war "U"-marked Walther magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling with just a few areas of minor freckling. De-cocker is functional.
