9/28/21 - This is an excellent example of a Mauser HSC put together by the French after WW2. It has both French numbering on the base of the frame and German-style numbering on the front strap. There is a marking on the left side of the frame that looks like a sunburst or flower. It does not look exactly like the Berlin Sunburst, but that is the closest we could find. We are not exactly sure of its meaning. The gun has been refinished and parkerized. It has retained virtually all of its new finish. While there is almost no actual finish loss, there are areas of pitting under the finish throughout. Comes with excellent post-WW2 wood grips and a proper magazine. The bore is mint.
