9/30/21 - This is an excellent example of an Arisaka Type 99 rifle issued to the Japanese military during WW2. This one is all matching and has a completely intact mum stamp on the receiver. It comes with an original bayonet, scabbard, leather frog, cleaning rod, monopod, and dust cover. The dust cover is not matching but is numbered "943", very close. The gun has retained nearly all of its bluing with areas of minor spotty oxidation throughout and some small dots of surface rust around the muzzle. Nice stock with dings, bruises, and scratches throughout. A few small gouges on the butt stock. The bore is near-mint. The bayonet is in nice condition, but there is spotty oxidation on the handle. The scabbard has minor pitting throughout. The dust cover has retained nearly all of its bluing with minor freckling throughout.
