9/28/21 - This is an excellent example of a Walther PP rig issued to the Nazi Railway Police in 1940. The gun is all matching, has the proper "Eagle N" proofs, and has the issue date "1940" stamped on the left side of the slide, a characteristic unique to the Railway Police variation. The gun comes with an excellent Akah Railway holster that reads "RBD Stuttgart 1939" on the inside of the top flap, indicating it was issued to the Stuttgart Railway Police in 1939. The rig also comes with one original matching-numbered finger extension magazine. The gun has retained about 95% of its original high polish finish. There are just hints of wear around the muzzle and a streak of minor wear at the base of the back strap. There are noticeable tiny dots along the length of the left side of the slide and a few on the right side. Comes with excellent black bakelite grips. The bore is shiny with strong rifling and some areas of light freckling.
