9/27/21 - This is a nice example of a French-made Mauser P.38 manufactured in 1946. These were compiled and imported to the US by Interarms. Import mark on the edge of the underside of the slide. This one comes with a matching Interarms box and owners manual. It is all matching has the proper French proofs on the barrel. This example is particularly rare because it has an "L block" serial number, visible on the underside of the tang. It comes with nice "gray ghost" grips and a WW2-era waffen-proofed magazine. It has retained roughly 80-85% of its finish. There are areas of spotty wear on the front strap, around the muzzle, on the barrel, on the whole right side of the slide, and on the left side of the slide, concentrated around the edges. It has a very nice bore - strong rifling with just very minor pin-pricking in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
